In addition to her bike, Mommy also made her a special necklace. She was so very excited about her necklace too! She always loves it when she gets something homemade! I love that about my children - that they can appreciate the heart that goes into a home made gift!! This is her necklace. I painted the background pink, painted on dots (with dots) and stamped an 'S' for her name. Then used the UTEE technique described in an earlier post.
Below are a few more UTEE items that I have made. The first picture is of another pendant and also a keychain that I made. The pendant was stamped, etc. and the keychain was painted - both were then finished with UTEE.The next picture is of another pendant. This one was done a little differently. I did the background as the other pendents (paint and inking). But, while the UTEE was still hot, I made an impression of the rubber stamp (with white pigment ink) over top. This left a true impression in the UTEE for a different 3d effect which I love.
The final picture is another pendant that was made in the same manner as the previous ones - just painting/inking/stamping, etc. Unfortunately, this one was rather difficult to photograph - but, hopefully you can see a bit of it anyway.
